Living in Gratitude

Long before the honors degrees, the behavioral science research, and the creation of the Scandal Randall™ brand, the true foundation of my journey was laid in the vibrant, bustling atmosphere of my mom’s hair salon. I often tell my clients, ‘My education didn’t start in a university lecture hall; it started under the comforting hum of hood dryers.’ It was there, watching ladies engrossed in their soap opera magazines, that I unconsciously absorbed the essential skills and the profound social dynamics of the stylist-client relationship.

She didn’t just give me an early immersion into the hardworking realities of the beauty industry; she provided the initial spark that ignited my passion for cosmetology.

Whenever I reflect on where my drive comes from, I see her standing at her station, transforming not just hair, but the spirits of everyone who sat in her chair.
