METHOD TO THE MADNESS!

Scandal Randall™ A Behavioral Haircut/Color Science (BHCS)

As a Honors Social Science Researcher, Randall has done extensive quality research for the past decade and has developed a concept of a Behavioral Haircut and Color Science (BHCS).

With the creation of the Scandal Randall™️brand: This is an educational opportunity for me to develop a certain image of myself through my cosmetology. Firstly, it should be noted that my brand is the brainchild of my college degree in Behavioral Science and Psychology from the University of Houston Clearlake. I have taken a scientific approach to the social phenomenon of a Haircut/Color: To illustrate, I developed an educational concept of a Behavioral Haircut/Color Science (BHCS) to achieve a greater sense of psychological hardiness before and during haircut/color and style. And to guide me on this adventure is the use of Qualitative Research (QR). QR requires flexibility in academics because researching people’s lifeworlds can be messy! Undoubtedly, the lived realities of those being researched can be convoluted and changing: For example, the social climber. As a researcher of the social phenomena of a haircut/color style, I had to make structured research designs knowing the research will not take place linearly. This knowledge takes time and experience to achieve. I draw from my college years doing honors social science research.

First and foremost, I propose flexible methodologies to describe my adaptability in terms of methods, techniques, positions, roles, and changes in the research plan. Without a doubt a client’s haircut/color style can have a tremendous impact on their psychological well-being and have social influence. For example, people who get a haircut during tough times can feel more in control. Most importantly, there can be an emotional release after receiving an excellent haircut/color that truly represents the person sitting in the chair. So, with the creation of BHCS, it will help the stylist and client with 4 simple steps to achieve the right haircut/ color for their right now:

  1. Aim to inspire one about the haircut/color and style created together.
  2. Assess any stress caused by what is created together.
  3. Changing one’s thinking patterns after a great haircut and how one can create a stronger sense of self and increase psychological hardiness.
  4. Intentionally creating mindfulness by knowing you “look good, feel good, live in style”.

My hopes for my blog is to help others with a paradigm shift in how they participate in the beauty industry. Because change is the only constant in life and the next hair service may be about changing up everything. This is why I have created a concept of Behavioral Hair Cut and Color Science (BHCS) to educate hairstylist and clients on the method of madness in helping them to collaborate while creating the best look for their right now.
